Finally .. my animation. :)
It debuted at the Chauvel Cinema last night which was pretty cool. And surreal. It was rewarding to hear the audience respond to it . . I think they laughed when the spoon turned into a stork. I'm glad I bothered to animate that now and didn't just do a cross fade.
Unfortunately I didn't get to meet any industry people . . that was a bit disappointing. But my piece did get some exposure (even though the COFA show was competing with the 'Australia' premier on George Street . . of all the things to be up against .. ), so perhaps something will come of that. There is also the COFA Annual next week . . I am looking forward to that as I can see my classmates work. After hearing and watching all their projects develop over the year it'll be really rich to see their final pieces.

oh wow, what an excellent piece of work =D =D Well done Rach, the animation is pretty good!! Too bad I couldn't come see the screening but I'll be visiting the COFA annual sometime, hopefully on the weekend or something =)

I have a few images and storyboards pinned up around my work . . it should be in F106 unless they decide to reallocate it.
Apparently they marked the Honours stuff yesterday but I don't know when I'll hear about results. :P

I'll be going with a bunch of my cofa friends on the weekend I think. ATM I'm juggling two jobs. TAT;;; so I don't think I'll be able to attend the opening. *sigh* Since when does Cofa Annual happen this early??? >___<;;;
Haha .. I think I have too many cards. I got 500 printed cos it was only $45! But I guess it's better to have too many than not enough!
I think the COFA Annual got moved earlier cos they are planning to pull down COFA. But the building plans have been postponed, so all this rush is actually in vain. Oh well . .
Oh, if you get to go to the Annual CHECK OUT THE GIANT ORANGE BALL on the ground floor in F Block. You can sit in/on it . . I really like it. But then, I'm easily amused. Haha ..
